The Role :
The Global Commercial Personal Workspace Category Head is responsible for bringing Logitech’s largest global category to life around the world.
The position is responsible for driving the category P&L and partnering with the regions to drive demand and market share, deliver commercial strategy and winning plans built on solid insights, data and analytics, and commercial marketing expertise and innovation.
The portfolio includes best in class products across the highly relevant workspace categories of mice, keyboards, headsets, and webcams.
Furthermore, this leader must be capable of recruiting, developing, building a consumer-centric mindset, and inspiring leaders to deliver on category targets while holding them accountable to results.
The position will be based in Lausanne, Switzerland and will report to the Global Commercial Head of Marketing.

In this role you will :
Manage the Global Category P&L driving global category revenue, profitability, and share growth.
Contribute as the Commercial partner and point of contact for the Global Business Group, Regional / Local Category Managers, and as a team member of the Global Commercial Marketing Leadership team.
Lead the Global Commercial Category Team, inspire senior category and cross functional teams, ensure alignment on objectives and a positive team environment.
Be the expert on category business and represent the voice of the consumers / shoppers BTC / BTB and the marketplace. Understand the competition, consumers, shopper needs and behaviors, and marketplace trends.
Ensure development of strong global commercial category marketing strategy and portfolio plans and partner the the Global Sales teams to ensure strong channel strategy and plans across regions :
Define and align commercial product launch strategy
Be the champion for the roadmap, conduct business case evaluation and ensure new product execution (including packaging review, launch deliverables such as copy doc, specifications), provide bottom up forecasts to the business groups
Ensure product expertise in the commercial organization
Provide input to optimize the product portfolio and drive market expansion including white spot activation
Define overall pricing strategy including promotional guidance to optimize Standard Margin, partner with Sales teams as they define final pricing plans to optimize results globally, within policy.
Define channel strategy and drive recommendation for channel launch, placement and implementation. Partner with Channel teams as they define final channel plans to optimize results globally
Define and optimize the Shopper Journey both Offline and Online
Promotion / Plan :
Define the commercial marketing strategic priorities and plans, NPI launch plans, drive campaign delivery and executional excellence.
Develop the global commercial marketing category plan and work with the regions to provide strong and effective commercial strategy, marketing creative assets, toolkits and deliverables to align key focus areas.
Amplify global alliances and partnerships and define relevant commercial category partnership opportunities to build awareness and demand in regions.
Develop aligned commercial category strategic global marketing plans that deliver the category business objectives in the marketplace.
Build awareness, relevance, preference, demand, conversion and trusted relationships to drive short term and longer term sustainable category growth.
Ensuring consistent regional / localized marketing plans that are effective, efficient and resonate with consumers / shoppers (BTC / BTB) at relevant touch points across the consumer / customer journey.
Ensure best in class consumer experiences at each touchpoint along the consumer / customer / shopper journey within brand equity requirements.
Drive accountability of results, category expertise, marketplace knowledge, and product knowledge across the Commercial Category Team.
Establish, track and provide feedback on key performance results, metrics, and expertise. Implement data and analytics into key marketing decision making.
Strategically allocate the global commercial category marketing budget (OPEX and MDF) across categories and regions, working with regions to ensure strategic allocation per country.
Advocate for marketing sufficiency tied to category strategy and the role of categories and NPIs within the short and mid term strategy and growth plan.
Manage strategic consistency between global business / brand / marketing strategy and local marketing executions, ensuring strong communications and activation, and effective resolution of strategic issues to ultimately meet consumer / BTB and business needs.
Drive category marketing innovation and creativity to deliver integrated ALT and BTL marketing programs; Digital Marketing, Media, PR, Social Media, Influencer Relations, Events, Implementation of Global Partnerships / Sponsorships and delivery of strategically aligned local partnerships / sponsorships, Point of Sale, Channel / Customer Marketing, Brand.

Develop a sense of global category community and ensure proper category on-boarding to ensure category knowledge and success in partnership with global business groups.
We are looking for a special individual with a broad cross section of skills which should encompass the following skills and behaviors :
15+ years of international marketing and brand experience with strong focus in integrated marketing from leading FMCG / CE / Consumer centric companies.
Ideally managed in 2+ regions (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific)
Strong P&L / portfolio management and business analysis skills
High strategic capabilities to both provide input to the development of global strategic plans and translate those plans into commercial marketing strategies.
Ability to lead and follow; lead and execute.
Able to articulate and commercialize NPIs and to engage with both the Regions and Business groups to ensure execution of the strategy.
Experience of the full marketing mix, including developing marketing plans, 360 campaigns and delivery of best in class marketing’ within a digital world.
Passion for consumers and shoppers needs aligned with strong business dynamics
Experience having worked in matrix structure with a global remit
Experience building brand value, strategy recommendations and successfully growing a product line.
In-depth experience in understanding customer preferences, attitudes, insights and other factors that influence strong marketing plans and campaigns.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence business, brand, marketing strategy across the organization, is required.
Ideal candidate has proven leadership skills to create strong internal / external relationships, while being a global team player.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically is critical.
Ability to view issues from a broad strategic perspective and strong experience in problem solving, influencing and decision making.
Organizational savvy to understand how to get things done in a matrix organization.
Self-management skills and self-starter attitude.
English fluent verbally and written is a must.
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance, MBA is a plus.
