An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Marketing professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to develop marketing campaigns and assets to support our guests’ experience on board our fleet.

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva.

Leveraging our parent company MSC Group s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of four luxury ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.


  • Support in the definition of key touchpoints and their role in the guest journey with focus on onboard experience;
  • Lead the development and delivery of onboard communications content and assets in the set-up phase of the Explora Journeys’ ships;
  • Monitor and analyze the guest journey to find ways to improve the effectiveness of communications;
  • Support onboard business owners in the development of marketing campaigns / marketing toolkits to promote new services / features / events;
  • Brief and coordinate external agencies for the development and production of assets;
  • Develop training for onboard crew to make sure all assets are properly delivered and maintained;
  • Work closely with brand team to develop new guidelines based on new services / product;
  • Own timeline for onboard materials development and delivery, making sure key functions input on time;
  • Monitors and manages budget to develop and produce materials;
  • Monitor the effectiveness of onboard communication proactively suggesting ways to improve it;
  • Monitor the application and consistency of brand guidelines across all material.
  • QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

  • You have minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing / Brand management. Luxury and cruise industry background is preferred;
  • You have solid marketing skills at corporate level marketing toolkit development and production;
  • You are structured and well organized;
  • You work collaboratively and establish constructive professional relationships within the organization;
  • You have ability to easily move from strategic thinking to operative tasks with strong respect for deadlines;
  • You are fluent in English - knowledge of any other European language is considered an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital, or related field is considered an advantage.
