After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.

We are currently looking for a*Manager Building Automation Systems (m / f / d)*Responsible for successful implementation of Building Automation Systems and Electrical Design and Engineering, the Head of Building Automation & Electrical Engineering will be leading and inspiring a team of engineers to build high standards systems and insure maximum uptime of equipment.

Key responsibilities : * Staffing and management of the technical team : automation & electrical engineers (internals and contingent workers)* Partnering with suppliers* Setting direction for the applications.

  • The planning and resource management to support key business projects.* Systems in scope : * Building Management System (supports Plant Utilities, HVAC, Cooling Systems, Room Automation)* Power Management System* Alarms Collecting System* Safety Systems (Fire & Gas Detection + Access Management)* Maintenance and support of Utilities automation (skids)
  • Electrical Design & Engineering* Define the strategy & roadmap for design and implementation of the building automation scope aligned with standardized Automation approach.
  • Accountable for system ownership and compliance to industry, safety and regulatory standards of the systems listed above.
  • Keys to Success : * Ideally Electrical Engineer degree with good automation knowledge or Automation Engineer with good knowledge in Electrical design & engineering or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience working within an applicable Automation and / or Electrical Engineering function that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position* 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and / or demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience in Life Science industry and cGMP is a plus* Good communicator, the ideal candidate communicates openly (top and down), sets expectations and appropriately escalates issues in a timely manner* Achiever, the ideal candidate will challenge status-quo and drive the team to meet targets and to improve process performance.
  • Team builder, the ideal candidate can motivate his / her team and support the team members individual development plans.
