We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist for the Data&Analytics Team of the Swiss Market. The data scientist that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better services and products.

Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis and building and implementing predictive models.

You must be comfortable working and communicating results with a wide range of teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.

This role is responsible for driving the consumer centric decision making agenda within the PMSA organization by; providing the business with clear and powerful data grounded insights.

Giving the organization a competitive position by connecting the dots and performing sophisticated analytics of multiple data sources across the organization.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES : - Improving In the data collection procedures to extend company’s data sources when needed- Processing, cleaning, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis- Pro-actively doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods- Mine and analyze data from PMSA databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets- Help to test model quality by supporting on the A / B testing framework- Coordinate with different functional teams the implementation of the models and supervise outcomes- Develop processes and tools to supervise and analyze model performance and data accuracy, Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomesREQUIRED SKILLS : - Strong problem solving skills- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.

to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Datarobot is a nice to have- Experience working with and creating data architectures- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.

and their real-world advantages / drawbacks- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.

  • and experience with applications- Strong communication skills for presentations and coordination across teams- An aim to learn and master new technologies and techniques- Confirmed ability manipulating data sets and building statistical models- Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative fieldStrong analytical skills : ability to connect, interpret and present data to provide informative and impactful recommendations;
  • Experience on Consumer data in a B2C, business model data visualization, preferably with Power BI. Tableau is a plus- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
