R&D Scientist - Application Specialist

The Application Specialist will be in charge to plan and perform analytical investigations as part of product feasibility, development and improvement of analytical projects for Optical Emission Spectroscopy instruments according the Strategically Development Plan, as well as for the evolution and the maintenance of the actual applications.
All scientific / analytical investigation shall be documented clearly, concisely and securely.
In the same time the Application Specialist will actively participate to hardware and software projects for testing, setting-
up and optimizing configurations and instrumental functions.
The Application Specialist will also support the Demo team to demonstrate in the Demo laboratory or at customers’ sites the OES instrumentation and their analytical performances.
This position involves interaction with other departments as Marketing, production OES, Technical support, Service and external Customers, and also strong interactions with the other R&D teams (hardware / firmware, software, mechanic / optic).
