We are looking for an experienced Sales Enablement Manager to join the Central Marketing Organization (CMO) for Western Europe.

This role is focused on driving the connection between CMO and our internal Sales teams (Enterprise and Small, Medium and Corporate Accounts (SMC)) by bringing marketing insights to sellers, building social selling capabilities, and ensuring the insights from sales is infused in our marketing plans.

The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) leads integrated marketing excellence in planning and execution across commercial Solution Areas, consumer business, segments including SMB and Partner, and Marketing engines to drive business outcomes for the Western Europe Area.

With integrated marketing excellence, events & digital marketing expertise, and data-driven insights, CMO delivers quality customer and partner experiences at scale to maximize marketing impact across our connected customer journeys in alignment with global strategies and local business priorities.

CMO embraces and promotes Global Demand Center (GDC) and Global Engagement Program (GEP) alignment and drives Area marketing governance with Sales (including Consumer & Devices Sales (CDS)), Solution Areas, Communications, and partners.

CMO builds clear linkage with Area priorities such as Customer Adds, Consumption, Skilling and Country. In everything we do, CMO models our Microsoft leadership values, and nurtures a diverse and inclusive team.

Responsibilities

The Sales Enablement manager is responsible for orchestrating connected sales and marketing activities for Enterprise managed accounts or SMC in support of sales outcomes.

The Sales Enablement Manager drives the sales connection, providing specific audience insights helping to land Microsoft’s global marketing initiatives (including the Global Demand Center (GDC)) and driving maximum impact from the global Events including Envision, Ignite, prioritized third party industry events and executive engagements.

You will engage with Sales Leaders and sellers to drive visibility of the impact GDC and local activities have on our customers across sales segments.

You will be acting as the bridge between the Integrated Marketing Managers and Sales and Partner teams.

You will support Social Selling for BDM acquisition and opportunity expansion. You will also partner with the CMO Integrated Marketing Managers (IMM), primarily the DT / Industry IMM, to ensure Global Engagement Program (GEP) connection.

The Sales Enablement Manager must be passionate about enabling industry sellers with focused marketing that drives impact.

You are sales-focused, data-driven, and able to extract insights from standard reports to continuously improve and optimize local performance.

You are excited about marketing capabilities like marketing automation and unlocking new opportunities when data and technology converge.

The Impact you will be driving :

  • Understand overall Global Demand Center program and all relevant Global content, and work across local stakeholders (Integrated Marketing, Experiential, Analytics, and Business Groups) to ensure alignment of local Sales Enablement Activity to the Integrated Marketing plans for the Area. ( 20% of time)
  • Responsible for driving awareness and usage of MSX Content and MSX Insights among sellers, aligning with all stakeholders and contributors (40%)
  • Establish ongoing cadence with Sales and leverage standard reporting to continually improve accuracy, streamline processes, and optimize local performance. (15% of time)
  • Support Social Selling with the Social Marketing team. (20% of time)
  • As part of the CMO team, lead Microsoft brand stewardship and Privacy / GDPR and Microsoft Accessibility (MAS) compliance for all executions. (5% of time)
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business-to-business marketing and sales experience, preferably in technology marketing, with strong integrated marketing and marketing operations background.
  • Experience in working at a large global multinational a plus.

  • Connected sales and marketing experience & business acumen. Strong understanding of sales priorities and motivations and ability to advocate for marketing in conversations with sales organizations to ensure optimal customer experiences and success.
  • Must be inspired by Marketing Communications execution particularly experiential and social marketing, embrace Marketing Automation concepts, and be obsessed with delivering a compelling customer experience through relevant, connected customer engagement.
  • Strong executive maturity, presence, and track record of marketing impact and influence. Exceptional oral and written communications skills;
  • proven cross-group collaboration and enduring partnerships. Strong analytical capabilities. Innate ability to navigate through a complex matrix organization and lead process changes.

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. MBA degree preferred but not required.
