In Motion’s strategy 2025 eCommerce was identified as one of the key strategic initiatives that the business needs to get right in order to be ready for the future.
The eCommerce PMO organization is responsible for the creation of a granular blueprint strategy and its implementation in MO
MO eCommerce is focusing on three critical areas for delivery around (1) value proposition derived from the customer needs;
2) lead generation, driving traffic, and order fulfilment for eCommerce; and (3) technology platform to deliver our eCommerce value proposition and customer experience.
The eCDMS will work alongside MO marketing and communications team to identify eCommerce target markets, create relevant brand image, and create and maintain online marketing campaigns for the purpose of supporting the project pilots and prof of concepts.
This position will act as a coordinator and change agent to support the development of the eCommerce blueprint, support eCommerce lead generation for piloting, and will eventually transition the organization once the job is completed.
The eCDMS is responsible for understanding customer requirements and planning the implementation of appropriate electronic commerce solutions by interacting with other Web and offline professionals, with embedded systems management, merchants, payment gateways, and third parties.
The eCDMS will work closely with other talented and dedicated digital marketing professionals across the businesses and countries.
The eCDMS, in the context of eCommerce project, will work closely with MO communications, MO digital
communications, MO marketing, BL marketing, marketing automation, country marketing,
product managers, channel managers to help organize and coordinate lead generation and order fulfilment to support the eCommerce project blueprint and pilots.
Assist in the development of an innovative eCommerce strategy framework relevant to specific markets, business, or countries to create a culture of online lead generation.
Develop and manage, in coordination with MO marketing and communications, all aspects of the MO eCommerce related digital marketing campaigns.
Track conversion rates what worked, what didn’t, and why?.
Work with MO marketing to implement paid search, PPC, and SEO strategies / campaigns, support countries and business units, with relation to eCommerce.
Support the development, testing and rollout of the MO eCommerce blueprint and pilots with emphasis on online lead generation, increase order conversion, and support efficient order fulfilment including :
o Associated attraction
o Product pricing, formatting, bundling
o Upsales, crosssales
o Guidelines and best practices for eCommerce Digital Marketing
Raise brand awareness and online presence through digital marketing projects and campaigns to support eCommerce global and local needs.
Stay on top and review new technology trends and opportunities to ensure MO eCommerce remains a leader within the industry, and in digital marketing space.
Support and collaborate with digital content specifications, plans and creation.
Lead mid-size eCommerce marketing projects with support from Business Lines, Functions and Countries which would include : 1) establishing and scoping eCommerce projects including coordinating team set up;
2) define milestones and deliverables through a detailed project plan; and 3) communicating with MO and Divisional leadership regarding regular milestone completion
Oversees the : 1) collection and analysis of information and data to develop / evaluate potential growth opportunities and, 2) financial modelling (e.
g.cost / profitability) and competitive analyses (product, business, financial performance, market positioning, etc.) Formulate output derived from digital marketing ideas into concise and articulate presentations to senior management.
Lead eCommerce workshops with middle management and local units to support creation and implementation of eCommerce blueprint
Organize and synthesize facts into clear analyses to provide impactful insights for eCommerce marketing initiatives.
Lead and / or support implementation of Commerce strategic workstreams in countries and functions acting as a thought partner to business and regional
management on eCommerce issues which will involve routinely identifying areas ABB of interest that may have a long-term impact on the business and evaluating the possible impact and strategic alternatives for ABB.
Project manage, including planning, governance, reporting, issue resolution, reporting, of his / her specific workstreams and for the entire project

Responsible to drive and work self in workstreams
Ensure cost, time and lead generation / conversion targets are met
Bachelor / Master or equivalent in Marketing, Strategy with a technical understanding
Strong business background with knowledge of eCommerce inB2B digital
marketing industrial markets with multi-channel approach
Good knowledge of all digital marketing disciplines and tools
o Designing, implementing and monitoring SEO campaigns
o Analyzing and optimizing PPC campaigns
o Supervising content marketing campaigns
o Utilizing social media networks (for traffic, awareness, and sales)
o Managing / collaborating with other members of the marketing team
o Coordinate the activities of all eCommerce digital campaigns
o Set goals and analyze the performance of all digital marketing channels
3-5 years of consulting project management experience
