Account Manager Geneva

Position Summary

The Accounts Manager will be based in our Geneva office manage a portfolio of Key and Strategic Accounts. Forging deep customer relationships to drive revenue growth.

Collaborating with internal partners to deliver exceptional service and a valuable solution. The AM will drive a sustainable pipeline of opportunities in order to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve revenue and net growth.

Role Responsibilities

Oversee all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end to end customer relationship from decision making to end user level

Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest at all levels of the client organisation

Build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationship within the accounts

Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv footprint

Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue

Understand customer's business, decision making strategy, workflows, priorities and needs

Develop high value contact network at all levels within accounts

Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals

Provide accurate forecast and build solid pipeline

Define account strategy and own the account plan

Own account information in relevant CRM system

Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with strong track record in Sales & Account Management team

Experience within either software vendors / data companies or financial markets industry

Knowledge of Refinitiv proposition and competitor landscape is a plus

Strong understanding of customers business model and workflows

Problem solving - ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs

Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate complex proposition / consultative selling)

Presentation and communication skills : ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization

Ability to develop and execute a sales plan

A high level of energy, self-motivation, competitiveness, and a desire to positively impact the business

Languages : Proficiency in French and English. German and Italian are a plus.

The position will be offered on local terms conditions.
