Together with the other Business Units, the Head of Accounts & Custody further develops, maintains and enhances Sygnum’s offering and ensures the delivery of Sygnum’s products and services.

He thereby acts as a strong link between the Sales, product management and technology teams, determining the strategic direction, commercialization as well as the realization and implementation of Sygnum’s product offering in the area of Accounts & Custody.

Sygnum’s Accounts & Custody offering builds the backbone of our digital asset banking services as it guarantees the safekeeping of our clients’ fiat and digital assets as well as associated products and services (e.

g., staking, etc.). The Head of Accounts & Custody is accountable to ensure the smooth and compliant operations of an institutional-grade solution today, as well as a leading-edge positioning that sets the basis for future innovation.

The Head of Accounts & Custody reports to the Head of Business Units who is a member of Sygnum’s Group Executive Board.TasksAssume P&L responsibility for Accounts & Custody, i.

e. develop top-line jointly with Sales and manage costsContinuously seek and build out innovative products and services in cooperation with Sales, Technology and Product ManagementDefine and lead growth initiatives and ensure their completion within scheduled time and budgetExplore and analyse market trends and identify new business opportunitiesCoordinate with the Marketing team to develop and implement operational plans for new product launchesBuild and nurture strong relationships with internal and external partners RequirementsExperience developing and managing progress against goals and budgets.

Ability to develop and articulate compelling stories addressing internal and external stakeholdersExperienced cultivating effective relationships with senior stakeholders inside the company and externallySound judgment, sensitivity to diverse constituencies, excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative and motivationStrong understanding of the trends in digital assets and blockchain is beneficialNice to have : Bei fluent in (Swiss) German Have a technical understanding of DLT, HSMs, cryptography, etc.
