Purpose of the job :
Drive strategy and implementation of a Roche ecosystem participation with initial focus on Cardiovascular-Metabolic disease management / virtual care.
Assess regional ecosystems, identify players, align with Roche strategy and prepare decision on potential partnership with such ecosystems.
Define and align a process for qualification of 3rd parties to join one of the ecosystems with Roche participation / orchestration.
Ensure activities and implemented standards are aligned with global platform strategies of RIS and RDS and long-term ambitions of Roche Diagnostics.
Main tasks :
Lead the Care Ecosystems Squad, lead / co-lead squad teams across Business Areas / Divisions and Regions.
Determine the Roche ecosystem strategic play with an initial focus on Cardiovascular-Metabolic disease management. Align potential strategic plays with Roche LT, Customer Areas, Disease Area Networks to ensure fit to global strategy to become a player in virtual care & disease management in the future.
Develop concepts on ecosystems and sub-ecosystems and the role of Roche to achieve its goal of becoming an orchestrator of (sub-)ecosystems.
This includes definition of commercial models, collaboration terms, data flows, regulatory aspects, branding etc.
Identify most relevant ecosystems in different regions and setup strategic partnerships in alignment with all relevant stakeholders and by working closely with Partnering on collaboration frameworks.
Define, implement and maintain a process for qualification of digital solution providers / 3rd parties from end-to-end and coordinate with internal experts, functions, other sub-chapters / M&I Chapters.
Drive / support communication activities related to ecosystems and collaboration strategy.
Support the Roche brand image of an ecosystem orchestrator to position Roche as a leader in Digital Health Transformation.
Ensure data standards and use of external platforms is aligned with internal data and platform strategies.
Planning of and responsibility for budget and resources of Ecosystem & Go-to-market sub-chapter.

Who you are :
Masters’ degree in technical or science field is required, additional MBA or similar business education preferred.
6+ years experience in digital health including successful translation of strategy into successful commercial activities
Experience with digital healthcare ecosystems in large markets globally
Open innovation mindset with track record in working with startups, tech companies or other new players in the healthcare ecosystem
Experience in interacting with visionary mindsets in startups, with venture capitalists, healthcare organizations, accelerators & incubators
Strong motivation to transform healthcare and implement change by overcoming barriers and resistance
Thought leader with recognition in global external stakeholder network of relevance for healthcare transformation
Proven leader who can create a trusted relationship / partnership with customers, payers, providers and other relevant stakeholders of the healthcare ecosystem
Excellent listening, oral and written communication / presentation skills
Experience managing third party vendors, including evaluation, contracting, budgeting, scheduling and project management.
Self-motivated with a true passion for healthcare transformation and working with disruptive mindsets
Travel Requirement :
