We are currently recruiting for a number of opportunities within different franchises.The Global Head Communications & Patient Advocacy supports business results with innovative strategies and tactics for the franchises with a strong focus on brands in pre launch and brands on market.
Develop and implement external communications / public relations programs that disseminate product / franchise / Novartis key messages to target audiences of the media.
Strategies must include traditional and digital / social media and consider close integration with patient relations and internal communications, as well as Country Pharma Organizations (CPOs) communicators in the countries.
Close and proactive collaboration with legal / compliance, commercial, medical, IR and Group Media Relations. Significant interaction with senior management including WWF heads, CCO, Head of Development and potentially Pharma CEO.
Support business results with innovative strategies and tactics for patient engagement with a strong focus on capturing the patient perspective, enhancing the patient community and activating patient involvement to improve better care and patient outcomes.
Lead strategies for working with patient organizations at a global and regional level.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : -
Development of strategy and implementation of global franchise communications plan leading an integrated approach with Digital and Social Media, Patient Relations and Internal Communications with clear responsibility for brand communications and digital & social media -
Providing counsel to franchise heads and senior management to maximize communications & advocacy in order to support the achievement of business goals -
Work closely with media relations team on newsflow and issues management - Development of strategy and content aligned to product / franchise objectives, with consideration of optimising traditional, social and digital media channels.
cycle. - Partner with franchises, Corp Coms and IR on quarterly financial communications - Anticipate, prepare for and manage product / franchises issues with business / reputation impact -
Act as a catalyst to innovate new ideas and programs - Work closely with and coordinate activities with Country Pharma Organizations communicators to deliver tactics, tools and programs for local use.
