As our Marketing Manager you are accountable for the achievement of key marketing functional goals for BDB Research segment (USD M+, Flow Cytometry instruments, software, reagents and Multiomics product Family) in EMEA.
Leading the EMEA Research marketing business group team and local product / marketing managers, you create, implement, and deliver competitively robust, practical go-to-market strategies and 1 3 year marketing plans, including channel and pricing strategies and plans, aimed at accelerating growth, reducing cost, and improving profit.
You demonstrate business ownership; decisions or recommendations impact sales and / or expense budget performance; consistently delivers results by setting critical metrics to ensure the proper execution of plans;
applies customer expertise and deep knowledge of selling processes to develop impactful sales messaging and related support tools tailored to drive customer segment's behaviour;
partners with the sales force for optimal deployment.
You influence within and across regional sales, marketing, and support functions; represents the Research market by providing input into product line-related business decisions and resource planning;
plays critical role in key projects / initiatives, often leading market-focused project / initiative teams.
You also will drive KOL development and management for their product group and collaborate with the EMEA Medical and HEOR team to build strong clinical evidence and access to market strategy.
Provide marketing expertise through specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge, e.g. branding, marketing communication, product and portfolio management, market planning and execution whilst contributing to regional product planning and strategy and serve on the Worldwide Platform.
Your main responsibilities :
Direct manage a Research marketing team of 3 Product Managers and in-direct leadership of the extended platform team within countries
Develop and lead the brand strategy to be consistently performed across the organization
Lead the successful development and implementation of new product launches and related commercialization plans, strategies, and activities
Develop deep insights through research and analytics to inform marketing and product development decision-making, plans, activities and the organization
Understand drivers of demand for assigned product line(s) such as pricing strategy, channel strategy, contracting, and product mix;
communicate to WW Product Platform
Optimize financial performance and leverage resources required for marketing success and related business performance of the Clinical Flow Cytometry product lines
Work with the newly created Marketing Communications COE on marketing communications plans, activities, events according to brand strategies and goals
Represent EMEA in the global research platform team
About you :
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Leader with a confirmed business experience in the life sciences / medical in-vitro diagnostics industry ideally in a large matrix organization
A strong background in research and diagnostic market as well as capital investment business model would be very useful.
In addition, you will have :
Experience / knowledge in Immunology - Minimum of 3 years in product and / or market management. Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development
Strong communication and analytical skills, with strong technical marketing competence to communicate effectively and persuasively both inside and outside of the organization
Team leadership experience will be a plus
