The GreenLake Business Strategy team is looking for an experienced Portfolio Return on Investment (ROI) Manager. GreenLake is a cornerstone of the HPE go forward strategy and has seen rapid and sustained growth since its inception and this is expected to accelerate.
Responsibilities : As a GreenLake Portfolio ROI Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team to design the end-to-end process, deliver the solution, and distinguish the top performing portfolio assets from the lower performers.
Some of the key areas of activity include : Work closely with the NSI, Portfolio, and Finance team to review current state process of how portfolios are tracked and evaluated.
Conduct cross-functional user group sessions and explore options to remediate current issues.Design an end-to-end future-state solution to seamlessly track portfolio performances from NSI to pipeline to reporting and help to establish portfolio-related governance.
Design metrics to evaluate portfolio performances based on portfolio lifecycle and idiosyncrasies of workload, segment, route-to-market, industry, and geography.
Identify emerging signs of a successful / unsuccessful portfolio and perform systematic hypothesis test. Apply statistical methods to quantify confidence level.
Reconcile signals from leading indicators and actual finance results. Constantly refine the portfolio incubation success model.
Conduct competitive portfolio performance comparison between GreenLake and non-GreenLake service offerings and develop a view on performance differences.
Work with Portfolio team to develop portfolio addition and divestiture strategies and establish procedures to trigger such mechanism with optimal timing.
Regularly report to management on findings and provide a platform for recommending strategic choices & remediation.Share with NSI and portfolio teams on lessons learned and support both teams to steadily increase success rate of future launches.
advanced degree (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.10+ years of experience in relevant function or exhibiting an exceptionally strong background in some other relevant and applicable area of business.
Knowledge and Skills Deep understanding of cloud computing, as-a-service business model, workload, service offerings, and emerging technology.
Fluent in statistical methods, hypothesis development, the testing methods.Excellent understanding of modeling and financial analysis.
Excellent project management and prioritization skills.Excellent people management skills, including managing teams across geographies.
Ability to build partnerships across functions.Excellent presentation and communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences.
