Bank Lombard Odier & Cie SA in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement :
JOB SPECIFICITIES :
Ensure and sustain high quality IT service for the Bank and clients across the region (SIN, HKG, and TOK), measured through system and service reliability;
Manage, coordinate, and report all IT infrastructure activities for the Asian offices;
Serve as the liaison between Asian offices and Geneva to ensure IT activities are delivered in line with established service level agreements;
Based in Geneva, operate from 2am to 10am, Monday to Friday.
YOUR MISSION :
Ensure and sustain high quality IT service for the Bank and clients across the region, measured through system and service reliability. This consists of :
Ensuring IT infrastructure availability for Asia offices, in line with the defined Service Level Agreement;
Overseeing Helpdesk Support for the region; communicating unresolved issues to the Group Helpdesk using standard tools and following through to resolution;
Serving as the IT incident manager for the region :
Reporting incidents in a timely manner ;
Ensuring root cause analysis, delivery of solution, and post-mortem;
Monitoring of reports and barometers.
Gathering IT-related business requirements and communicating the needs;
Participating in the implementation and deployment of Group projects;
Ensuring periodic review of local Asia IT policies and procedures;
Managing the local Asia IT teams based in Singapore and Hong Kong for day to day tasks and follow up of project deadlines.
Manage, coordinate, and report all IT infrastructure (ITECH) activities for the Asian offices, in close collaboration with GVA ITECH teams. This includes :
Maintaining the efficient functioning of all IT equipment in the region, including local server management;
Implementing effective inventory management of IT equipment;
Identifying Asia local ITECH requirements and implementing solutions to meet the constantly evolving business needs (e.
g. new local IT systems, upgrade and maintenance of existing systems);
Assisting GVA experts (e.g. systems and networks experts) as and when required;
Managing contracts and negotiations with Asia local vendors;
Contributing in the budget process;
Planning regular IT interventions in the region.
Ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements and Group requirements, with a focus on IT security and IT Risk Management. Activities include :
Serving as the IT Security Officer for the region :
Systematic training on Information security and document classification for new staff :
Periodic review of system access rights;
Highlight any risks from an IT security perspective as and when required (e.g. implementation of new systems / new projects);
From time to time, assist in any audits on IT processes and procedures.
Implementing a robust IT Risk Management framework in line with Asia local regulatory requirements, including but not limited to :
Installation and testing of the Asia BCP infrastructure;
Periodic risk assessment of Asia local IT processes;
Ensure IT risks associated with outsourced services are periodically monitored with mitigating factors in place.
Supervisory responsibilities : Manages IT Specialists (in SIN and HKG).
DESIRED PROFILE :
Confirmed experience in IT, preferably with a financial institution, in the following areas :
Strong IT project management skills :
Proven ability to gather and interpret business requirements;
Strong communication skills.
Team player, with the ability to engage stakeholders and obtain buy-in from team and other stakeholders;
Good understanding of the regional regulatory environment and technology risk management, an asset;
Flexibility and adaptability, with good cultural sensitivity;
Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
