Job’s mission

To work closely with the Head of Marketing, the Design team, the MarCom teams, the IT teams and any IMD teams involved in MarCom activities.

He / she is responsible for building seamless online and offline user experiences and outstanding creative productions reflecting IMD brand DNA.

Main responsibilities

  • Define evolution of IMD style guide ensuring a unique IMD brand experience across all marketing collaterals consumed online (web / info-
  • graphic / video / publications / animations )

  • Create outstanding user interface designs for IMD brand and programs
  • Create and define online and offline collaterals, including all branded materials (Events, Shop, campus facilities, etc.)
  • Produce information architecture, wireframe and web design meeting user needs and site objectives
  • Run UI / UX tests and design validation milestones according to project’s plan
  • Management of Design team productions

  • Management of internal and external designers resources, including agencies
  • Lead the Design team : communicate direction, clarify strategy, set objectives, conduct evaluations, coach and set development plans.
  • Monitor team progress and results

  • Briefing and creative direction with external designers and / or agencies
  • Manage, train and coach external partners on designing IMD products while maintaining close relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Project coordination

  • Project management coordination for MarCom projects
  • Budget validation for external suppliers
  • Project planning based on business priorities
  • Maintain a project dashboard to communicate status of department projects
  • Assess project development risks and resource requirements
  • Manage contracts and budget, invoices related to the team
  • Design support and site maintenance

  • Manage cross-cultural design projects from design briefing to final implementation.
  • Ensure regular sites maintenance and report issues to IS teams through Jira platform
  • Support IMD teams with graphical productions (online, offline)
  • Education

  • Fine art or equivalent visual design school with specialisation in web design
  • Educated in multimedia and web development a plus
  • Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in digital product design (apps, web, digital ecosystems)
  • Experience with premium brands or having worked in agencies
  • Proven experience with the software mentioned here below
  • Proven experience in conceiving responsive design online properties
  • Proven experience in online graphical production
  • Experience in Agile project management coordination
  • Proven experience in managing, training and coaching a team and external partners
  • Competencies

  • Advanced software skills in : Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Invision, Jira, Confluence, UX tools (tree testing, heat-
  • map, Google Analytics user behaviour data )

  • Strong knowledge of UI / UX best practices (especially responsive design) : definition of user scenarios, information architecture, design directions, functional specifications, user test scenarios, wireframes and final design specifications
  • Knowledge of content management system publication
  • Scrum / Agile project management certification preferable
  • Strong competencies in managing multiple projects in parallel. Ability to calculate workloads, coordinating planning with cross functional teams and meeting very tight deadlines
  • Strong knowledge in typography and layout skills to produce marketing collaterals
  • Knowledge of social networks for professional use : Linkedin, Twitter, Youtube, Slideshare...
  • Knowledge of design productions for multi-channels campaigns (web and print)
  • Ability to analyse market trends and translate them into opportunities considering IMD context
  • Understanding of gamification principles
  • Advanced knowledge of UX process : user research, information architecture, functional specifications, wireframe, interaction design, visual design
  • Always ready to embrace new ways of thinking and new technologies to explore multiple ways of solving design problems
  • Adept at bridging creative solutions with highly demanding customers expecting top quality services
  • Acute attention to details. Ability to constantly testing ideas to eliminate the non-essential
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to pitch creative ideas
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated, well organized
  • Ability to work on several different projects and meet deadlines; self-starter, work independently and effectively with others
  • Team player, always putting IMD premium brand and IMD customers interests first
  • Briefing and creative direction with external designers and / or agencies
  • Fluency in English, working knowledge in other languages (especially French) would be an asset
