SUMMARY : The Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Metropolitan State University of Denver, is seeking applications for two full-
time non tenure-track faculty positions in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics beginning August 2018.
The University is particularly interested in applicants who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Teach 15 hours of undergraduate mathematical science courses per semester, including evenings and possibly online, using multimedia and other technologies as needed.
A successful candidate must have the ability to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse urban population.

Qualifications : Required Qualifications : M.A. / M.S in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or a related field with at least 18 hours of graduate credit in mathematics.
Preferred Qualifications : Doctorate in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics completed by August 1, 2018.
