In collaboration with another classroom teacher,
Within the IB Framework for its Primary Years Programme plan for learning, deliver lessons and learning experiences, evaluate and document
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop the most effective child-centered teaching and learning strategies
Ascertain the holistic and specific learning needs of the students based on effective and ongoing evaluation of the child
Is willing to participate in special school events (concerts, festivals and presentations) to help promote the community of the school
Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continued professional learning
Professional experience required :
Internationally recognized teaching certification with at least three years of experience in having full responsibility for a class
Have training and experience in the IB Primary Years Programme and / or other innovative child-centered pedagogies (i.
e., The Reggio Approach)
Have experience of working in an international school
Personal attributes required :
Ability to work as an effective and collaborative team member
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills;
Enthusiasm, creativity and drive : have a passion for teaching and learning with a drive to achieve the highest possible standards;
Be able manage resources efficiently so that teaching and learning is effectively supported;
Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people;
Have an ability to work in French and English;
Good communication skills with colleagues and parents.
