As a Test Engineer, you will be working for Investment Platform Products as part of the Geneva-based Development team and in collaboration with the DevOps and Test Managers.
The platform oversees development and maintenance of Software for Portfolio Management services used by multiple business lines (Fund Management, Risk and Performance, Dealing and Compliance, Operations, etc.).
In this role, you will be responsible for the industrialization of integration tests (Functional, Contract, API, Performance etc.
You will also be in charge of coaching the developers on the test frameworks usage.
Participate in user stories definition, understand the requirements and ensure that each story has acceptance criteria complete enough to create test cases.
Define for each story which level(s) of testing is required (UT, IT, API, GUI, E2E).
Collaborate with the development team and test manager to identify test paths needed for automation.
Provide framework and best practices for each level of testing.
In collaboration with the DevOps define test execution environment at each phase of the release cycle.
Mock the external services to ensure testing in isolation when needed.
Develop and enhance automation tools to improve delivery.
Bachelor or Master in computer science.
Must master GUI test with Cucumber. Knowledge in Selenium and Gatling a plus.
Programming Languages required : Java mandatory, Python & Shell a plus.
Experienced in Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD) and Contract Driven Development (CDD) (PACT Framework).
At ease with Jira, Confluence, Xray, Bamboo, Git, Maven.
Knowledgeable in efficient test design, scripting, execution and analysis.
Proficient experience in creating automated tests Contract / API / Webservices (REST & Soap).
Keen to work in a team, adaptable with a positive attitude and autonomous.
Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
