The co-manager is the responsible for meeting all Cappuccino Grand Café revenues, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality and customer-
service standards.Objective : Under the general guidance and supervision of the Cappuccino Grand Café standards and the Operational and within the limits of Cappuccino Grand Café policies and procedures, the director should assist in overseeing and directing all aspects of the outlet.Responsibilities :
Coordinate the entire restaurant operation, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Supervise the day-to-day function of the outlet, employees, facilities, maintenance, sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene.
Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible.
Supervise, coordinate and direct the efficient and courteous serving of food and beverages during the opening of the outlet.
Organize and supervise staff shits, holidays and low staffing.
Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive, and maintenance of effective and respectful employee relations.
Conduct all administrative work required, including but not limited to attendance record.
Organize and execute formal training plans and implement them for the outlet employees, in collaboration with the human resources department.
Estimate consumption, forecast requirement and maintain inventory.
Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
Control costs and minimize waste.
Successfully promote and publicize the brand.
Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example.
Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions.
Conduct night and morning inspections spot check.
Ensure the outlet grooming and appearance according to the Cappuccino Grand Café’s standards.
Supervise and control the music and volume in the outlet at all times.
Proven working experience as restaurant manager.
Extensive food and wine knowledge.
Availability to live in Gstaad (Switzerland).
Proficiency in English.
Medium level in Swiss german.
Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software.
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration.
