We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Senior Cloud Engineer. This role is permanent position based in Luzern Canton (with good home office allowance).
Your Role :
Network machines into a cloud-based smart factory for distributed applications & accompany the corresponding software from the idea to series production.
Design, develop, implement, simulate & test sophisticated software on a Linux / Debian system & on Windows 10 / 11.
Drive the architecture of a software platform & help make sustainable design decisions.
Carry out varied work with various programming languages such as C#, C++, Go, TypeScript, etc.
Help coach software talents within the team.
Your Experience & Profile :
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience including strong experience in Cloud Engineering & Programming (ideally including with C # & within Industrial environments).
Skilled in the area of DevOps & hands-on experience with CI / CD Pipelines (Test & Deployment Automation).
A good knowledge of common Technology Frameworks (.NET Core, .NET Standard, React, gRPC) & Architecture Styles (REST-API, message broker).
Familiar with Multithreading Systems, (a)Synchronous Communication Mechanisms & the Orchestration of Distributed Applications.
Experienced in Object-Oriented & other programming paradigms & familiar with Agile Software Development Methodologies (Scrum).
Your Profile :
Completed Computer Science or Electrical Engineering University Degree.
Committed, positive, communicative, motivated, forward-thinking & a team-player.
Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a good command of German.
