Purpose of the Role :
The Digital Innovation Manager has the responsibility of leading the development of new and novel digital concepts, moving them from early prototype to MVP.
Collaborating with the DBU leadership team, your role will be to evangelize agile & lean ways of working, including an MVP approach in underpinning the organization’s digital innovation efforts
Partnering closely with the Digital Innovation Director, this role will be crucial in defining and shaping new digital offerings for the organization.
Main Responsibilities :
To develop new and novel ideas through the creation of prototypes and MVPs. Key focus on validating assumptions using the desirability, feasibility, viability framework
Define roadmaps encompassing the full product life-cycle from concept / definition through to release and testing,
Leverage and encourage digital product management techniques including qualitative and quantitative methods, the definition of KPIs, and growth metrics
Balancing of business, customer, and technology requirements, whilst simultaneously translating and prioritizing those insights for the best product definition
Steer product development : lead cross-functional activities including oversight of engineering and UX
Skills & Experience :
University degree or equivalent
8+ years experience in Digital Product Management or innovation management
Digital innovation management of new and novel concepts
Established experience in consumer testing and rapid prototyping
Broad exposure to a range of products and industries, ideally both B2B and B2C.
Deep understanding of agile, lean principles
Good knowledge of technology, having overseen or collaborated closely with engineering teams
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage a broad range of functions and levels
Leadership experience, having successfully built and grown cross-functional teams
Exceptional teaming and interpersonal skills and strong advocacy for collaborative working
Early-stage product experience, including strong product vision & definition capabilities
