highway vehicles. We have over 100 Service Stations in more than 50 countries worldwide. We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Supply Engineer for our Service Parts business.

With responsibility for the Service Parts portfolio of the Components category, your key tasks are to :
Pro-actively set up a robust value chain
Run-short term orders through the entire re-launch phase until parts are available for internal customers
This includes reviewing technical documents, clarifying and aligning quality requirements, as well as interacting with selected suppliers
You will also place RFQs, prepare supplier selection decisions and provide ongoing progress information to internal customers
In addition, you perform various tasks related to suppliers and gather relevant information from them, also analyzing parts portfolio and master data
Act as technical advisor towards internal and external stakeholders
Ensure sustainable supplier development with regard to quality, total cost of ownership and supply chain design
Completed vocational training as Production or Design Engineer. Further education, as Bachelor’s Degree of university of applied sciences in Supply Chain Management / Logistics, or similar qualifications of advantage
Capability to work with various departments and external suppliers
Good team player, ability to cooperate well with people of different cultural backgrounds
Hands-on mentality, flexibility and good problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Fluent in German and English
Willingness to travel
Candidates must be in possession of a valid work permit which would authorize them to work for ABB in Switzerland.
