Medical Governance Manager

Hybrid position : Home-working and in office if required by business / team

As Medical Governance Manager (MGM) you will embed the global Medical Governance strategy in the LOC and contribute to the creation of synergies and solutions in the local market to support the global Medical Governance operating model.

MGM leads governance related processes in the Medical Department. The MGM independently completes local Medical / Copy Approval certification and Medical Department related Management Monitoring.

In this role you will

  • Complete certification of materials (Copy Approval) for release to use in Switzerland
  • Develop and implement Management Monitoring plan for the Medical Department
  • Perform Management Monitoring’s (MM) according to schedule and report results
  • Ensure MM related to key medical processes in Swiss LOC can be executed by organising meetings and supporting Business Owners in judgement of findings and writing reports / defining CAPAs
  • Ensure the LOC is prepared for Medical Department independent business monitoring reviews, internal audits, and inspections, providing support and advise as required
  • Support the business by answering questions related to medical governance / scientific engagement and local regulations
  • Promote, together with the other members of the Medical Governance team, a value-bases compliance culture trough communication and training initiatives
  • Work closely with the European Governance team
  • Manage projects

    Qualifications & Skills :

  • Master’s degree in relevant subject (e.g. Life science, Pharmacy, Quality Management) or equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar position (e.g. (governance, copy approval or compliance) within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Preferred :

  • French language
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Project Management capabilities
