This position will be responsible for receipt, distribution and tracking of adverse event / drug experience reports (serious and non-serious) and other safety related data for Incyte marketed products and clinical trials.
The position will be responsible for the maintenance of all receipt channels and sources to ensure timely distribution of information for global Pharmacovigilance Operational teams.
The position will also be responsible to liaise with relevant parties (external reporters, intradepartmental, external service provider / vendor or business partners) for related Pharmacovigilance information intake and distribution tasks as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for receipt, distribution and tracking of adverse event / drug experience reports (serious and non-serious) and other safety related data for Incyte marketed products and clinical trials.
Monitor all intake avenues during business hours to ensure rapid intake and distribution of information to case processing teams
Ensure efficient tracking and distribution of materials to ensure compliance with workflow and submission timelines
Perform tracking and listing preparations as required
Monitor IT systems responsible for receipt of safety information including but not limited to Fax to Mail servers, Fax machines, Outlook Mailboxes and Distribution lists, phones, as well as hard copy mail and courier methods
Assist with general administrative duties as required
Maintain files and systems as appropriate
Completion of additional tasks and projects as assigned by management
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a science or healthcare related discipline preferred), or equivalent
Minimum of 1 years pharmacovigilance experience or other equivalent clinical or pharmaceutical experience
Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
Experience using safety database systems (preferred)
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Excellent organizational, prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with standard office equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in written and verbal English
