Develop and implements a three-year strategic category plan for the Cloud / SaaS category with the goal of added value solutions through competitive advantage based on time to market, potential risks, cost impact on margin.
Evaluate the implications of regulatory requirements such as price and service controls exercised by industry regulators and international bodies.
Plan work commitments and delegate effectively to category team members and promote understanding of strategies, plans and processes, taking accountability for outcomes achieved.
Prepare and present vendor cost analysis and risk profile that enable profit margin.
Achievement of savings and non-financial targets for vendor portfolio.
Change management, actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
Data-management, analytical and detail oriented, capable of using models for optimization purposes yet balanced with an ability to be able to step back from the data to draw out the right business approach for conclusion.
Project management / process improvement skills, effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve issues;

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or Engineering.
5+ years of procurement or vendor management programs at technology companies, or equivalent consulting experience.
Proven experience of leading negotiations with cloud service providers and top software vendors.
Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects with experience leading cross-functional projects and teams, driving results.
Familiarity with Data Privacy, Business Continuity, Information and Cyber Risk, Technology Resilience and Vendor Risk Management.
Knowledge of working with a wide range of software solutions and related services.
Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and product development for client cloud-based solutions.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
Excellent understanding of an end to end procurement cycle and the value creation / cost drivers that strategic procurement can drive.
Experience in IT procurement with excellent understanding of critical technology (e.g. cloud computing, big data, etc.).
Hands on experience with public cloud service providers.
Experience in the financial services space and a SaaS / cloud-based services organization at a senior level is extremely beneficial.
