Over the past three years, Philip Morris International (PMI) has made a dramatic pivot away from the marketing and sales of combustible cigarettes, and moved towards its Reduced-

Risk Product (RRP) portfolio, focusing on its flagship product, IQOS.

This launch of this product is PMI’s step forward to creating a smoke-free future for legal age consumers who continue to enjoy tobacco, but are seeking smoke-free alternatives.

All of this has been accompanied by an organization-wide transformation in ways of working, culture, and strategy, with emphasis on digital strategy.

Working as part of the Digital team at Philip Morris International (PMI), you will be responsible for ensuring all content is SEO-

friendly, working with internal stakeholders to set editorial standards for the global websites, work with audience management to create SEO copy for the different audiences, and overseeing content marketing campaigns worldwide being deployed by local markets.

This challenging yet rewarding role will have a direct impact in commercializing reduced risk products in key markets online, and moving PMI towards a smoke-free future.

This role will work with our global SEO agency, local marketing managers, digital deployment team, and cross-functional content partners to deploy, monitor and optimize content.

This opportunity is based in PMI’s Operations Center in Lausanne, Switzerland and reports directly to the Head of SEO. Responsibilities

  • Communicate the plan for rolling out content marketing initiatives, monitor SEO efforts in key markets and report results to internal stakeholders at PMI.
  • Content review and assist Human Centric Marketing with content projects being deployed globally and at the local level.
  • This role with interact with local marketing managers, digital deployment team and cross-functional content partners in the Operations Center.

  • Work with audience management, business owners and content agencies to orchestrate content journeys across the PMI ecosystem.
  • Develop content dashboards and reporting standards for communicating the success of content initiatives during all stages of the funnel.
  • Prioritize content projects based on return on investment (ROI) for cross-functional partners, digital deployment team and local markets.
  • Maintain SEO-friendly best practices for copywriters and content agencies.
  • Create a training program for local marketing managers and digital deployment team on SEO best practices, traveling local markets as needed. Our Ideal Candidate
  • A passion for SEO and copywriting
  • Ability to communicate SEO best practices for content to key stakeholders who may not have a background in search engine optimization.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
  • Previous experience using SEMRush Searchmetrics, SEOclarity, and Conductor
  • Previous experience as a content marketer or content-focused SEO at an established brand or agency
  • Strong experience specializing in copywriting and SEO
