Director, Global Pricing and Market Access, Myeloid Disease Lead Business Execution
10+ years of experience in healthcare, of which 5+ years in a relevant function; experience in hematology disease appreciated.
Experience in both affiliate and headquarter functions, ideally in multiple markets with people management experience.
Bachelor or advanced degree in business, economics, health policy or relevant area. MBA is an advantage.
The Pricing and Market Access disease Business Execution (BE) lead will work closely with Global Pricing and Market Access (GPMA) Myeloid team and Affiliates (all ex US countries) in order to drive Market Access readiness of Celgene’s Myeloid assets and Market Access execution of marketed products.
The Director has the following main responsibilities :
For in-line products :
Serve as the Market Access representative / voice of Vidaza LCM taskforce
Serve as the point of contact for any market access requests related to Vidaza and Revlimid Myeloid indications
The Myeloid pipeline program include assets spanning therapeutic areas of focus for Celgene e.g. MDS, B-thalassemia, myelofibrosis, AML. The BE lead will :
Work in close alignment with GPMA colleagues as the key partners of the
Ensure WWMs reach readiness for upcoming launches
The Director is a member of the P&MA Business Execution team in Boudry, Switzerland, and part of Global P&MA access team, which is based in Summit, NJ and Boudry, CH.
She / he will work closely with local pricing and reimbursement teams in affiliates, with government affairs team and other cross-
functional teams of Celgene. Operating effectively in matrix organization requires both strong intrapersonal and people management skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following
Work closely with affiliates and regional partner to support pricing and market access for in line product
Contribute to global pricing and market access development for future launches within the myeloid space
Maintain an in-depth understanding of changing pricing and reimbursement environment, processes, and policies of key markets
Work with the Pricing Excellence team within the GP&MA Business Execution team in the development of annual price targets and forecasts and status tracking against goals
Oversee the implementation of Global Value argument implementation into payer messages
Develop business cases in partnership with affiliates to support optimal decision making for the assets
Ability to scenario plan and to craft strategic options
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex or technical content in a simple and convincing way to non-technical audiences
Ability to deliver clear concise message and influence change
Ability to work at peer-level with experienced technical and commercial experts in other departments
Business confidence to constructively challenge cross functional partners
A positive and collaborative attitude, and the ability to prioritize projects
