The Senior HR Leader EMEA reports to the Global HRVP and has overall responsibility for managing HR function with special focus on Germany, France, UK, Italy, Switzerland and Bulgaria.

The HR Leader ensures that managers are equipped to drive employee engagement that align to business goals. Champions the HR side of business and interfaces with HR team in local markets to maintain and enhance Acronis corporate culture based on values of Alert, Attentive to Detail, High Frequency, Responsive, Never Give Up, Care and Passion.

This role also ensures HR compliance; talent acquisition activities; implements retention activities; building succession pipeline and talent planning, workforce planning, evaluating employee relations and building / improving HR policies, programs and practices.


Core Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Designs, drives, maintains, supports and implements HR policies, programmes and procedures and related activities (e.g.
  • compensation and benefit annual reviews; performance management process; employee relations, company handbook or site policies, etc.)

  • Supports all aspects of EMEA talent acquisition, including working with the recruiting team to implementing processes and training materials for interviewers and hiring managers
  • Leads and support activities designed to reinforce Acronis culture and values
  • Owns end-to-end execution of functional HR work and building effective coordination across local HR in region and at sites
  • Prepares offer letters and employment contracts
  • Maintains HR record keeping
  • Manages onboarding, ensuring all local requirements are proactively met (contract and other documents signed and correctly filed, etc.)
  • Develops, updates and ensures compliance with the local policies
  • Represents HR on audits and inspections or due diligence actives
  • HR Strategy and Talent Planning

  • Effectively diagnoses business issues and goals, turning these into an HR plan aligned with the business strategy
  • Works with senior leaders to optimize organizational design and drive business performance
  • Takes a proactive role in the development of HR priorities and supports in the implementation of these, and other major global / regional change programs as required
  • Drives and supports the region / function leadership team in the planning and budgeting activities needed to deliver the people strategy
  • Manages and advises on the people aspects of organizational change and transition, recommending process improvements (i.
  • e. growth, reshaping, transition of services / roles / people)

  • Coaches business leaders on how to engage employees and build people capability within their organizations
  • Actively consults and provides solutions related to workforce, talent, and organizational matters within region or function

  • Plans and implements HR programs for region or function
  • Experience & Skills Required

    Profile :

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Fluent in English and German, additional languages is a plus
  • Strong legal background
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience with increasing responsibilities
  • Related HR experience including knowledge about the labour environment in EMEA
  • Good understanding of Finance is a plus
  • Hands on experience in manufacturing environment is a benefit
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to constantly changing and decentralized environment
  • Outstanding organizational and problem solving skills with ability to effectively juggle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Understanding of business practices (both in and out of the HR function)
