Act as Geocycle co-processing expert, by working with both Geocycle and Cement Manufacturing teams, to facilitate co-processing of alternative fuels and raw materials (AFRs).

Ensure achievement of thermal energy cost reduction by defining and implementing programs for optimizing and increasing the use of AFRs co-processing units (cement plants).

Contribute to increase the use of AFRs by developing methods to address operational challenges in terms of process, quality and environment.

Responsibilities

Assist technically the Geocycle region / country heads in developing the waste management activity in the regions / countries and addressing operational challenges (process, quality and environment) linked to co-processing

Benchmark co-processing cost & KPIs, support target setting process and challenge cement operations in the area of AFR utilization

Define and implement operational performance assessments and process improvements in the field of co-processing and support on-site co-processing operations

Support regions / countries in definition and prioritization of CAPEX projects for optimizing and increasing co-processing capacity with opportunity and feasibility studies, as well as assist in relations with suppliers and equipment selection

Maintain relations with key technology suppliers and actively follow-up and evaluation of developments and trends

Capture and transfer know-how and train Geocycle and cement personnel in technical and operational know-how through specialized training courses and workshops

Closely cooperate with other group functions like cement manufacturing and regional support organizations

Education / Qualifications

Bachelor / Master degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering

Experience

Professional experience as Process Engineer in a cement plant or regional / corporate technical center will be preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Computer (Google Suite, MS Office, Engineering Drawing)

Knowledge of alternative fuels and raw materials will be an added advantage

Project Management

Able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders for the success of the business

Up to 50% internationally
