Test Engineer
Reports to : Manager of Product & Test Engineering - Wireless and Sensing BU
Location Neuchâtel, Switzerland
Job Summary
In this position the Test Engineer designs and develops test solutions for RF integrated circuits.
He prepares recommendations for testing and collaborates with the design team during the whole development phase to ensure that the circuits are fully testable.
He is responsible for validating his test environment and ensuring that it meets all the quality requirements at Production Release.
He is responsible for both test hardware and software.
Duties and Responsibilities
Designs and writes test programs, mainly on Advantest 93K
Contributes to the specification of test related hardware - fixtures, probe cards, load boards
Writes test programs for wafer probe, verification, characterization, and final test of new and existing products
Performs correlation, repeatability and limit setting / testing in collaboration with Product Engineering
Actively participates in the product development teams throughout the NPI cycle focusing on DFT and testability
Collaborates with product design, product engineering, and application engineering to fully characterize and verify new product designs
Writes documentation - test spec, test program description, test procedures
Ensures all requirements are met for Release to Production
Qualifications
MSEE (preferred); BSEE or BSCS required
Minimum of 3 years of experience with semiconductor products
Strong hardware and test equipment experience
Strong test programming experience, if possible on Advantest 93K
Strong background in statistical analysis RF expertise is a plus
