Vacancy : Global Head of Recruiting (f / m / x) - We are looking for a Global Head of Recruiting (f / m / x) for our client based in greater Zurich Area.

For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.

Your Responsibilities as Global Head of Recruiting (f / m / x)

  • Supervising the recruiting team and reporting on its performance
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Designs, develops and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps)
  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source
  • Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies
  • Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process
  • Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
  • Conducts job interviews for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization)
  • Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant
  • Acts as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics
  • Designs training recruitment for HR Recruiters and line managers
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Works closely with recruiting managers in other regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives.
  • Promote diversity awareness in hiring practices.
  • Collaborates with division managers and consultants to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Keeps track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill and cost-per-hire)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Your Qualification and Skills

  • Commercial apprenticeship (KV) plus higher HR diploma (Eidgenössischer Fachausweis) or bachelor degree;
  • Minimum 5 years prior relevant working experience in Recruiting or similar function in an international environment
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken;
  • French and / or Portuguese Language Skills would be advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
