What you’ll do
We’re looking for a (Sr.) Account Executive to join our business unit dedicated to the Banking industry. While managing an existing account set, you will be expected to grow the revenues within these clients.
You will join the Zurich office which is existing of talented experts responsible for delivering business value and helping companies achieve their goals through the creative use of SAS products, technologies and services.
Manage and keep on growing existing accounts within the Banking industry while exploring green field areas within existing customers.
Develop strategic plans to identify accounts that have the potential for further development and execute them.
Sell software, solutions and services to current and prospective customers; work with other sales / pre-sales / domain / personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities.
Direct complex sales opportunities including implementation plans, which include the coordination of internal and / or external services.
Prepare standard quotations and proposal information as needed; work with other departments to create and finalize contracts and set time schedules for delivery services.
Follow up with customers to track satisfaction levels and to discover additional revenue opportunities.
Develop an understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrix.
What we’re looking for
Experience in selling complex IT solutions, ideally within a software or consulting company.
Experience in driving complex sales processes in the Banking industry is a must.
Demonstrated experience in working on strategic planning and revenue growth.
Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS applications and user needs;
ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to initiate and lead projects and work effectively in a team environment.
Fluent in German and English.
Knowledge of analytics solutions and / or Cloud and services preferred, but it is not essential.
