The Head of Employee Engagement, Content & Digital / Social Communications, Oncology Europe is responsible for developing plans, programs and content that energize associates and reinforce the Oncology Region Europe (ORE) culture movement aligned with our objectives and our mission of reimagining cancer care.

In this role, you will hold strategic responsibility, in alignment with the OLTRE (Oncology Leadership Team Region Europe) and partner with ORE Communications and Patient Advocacy Leadership Team to develop innovative internal communications strategies and tactics that drive employee engagement and business outcomes.

It will require close and proactive collaboration with Global Oncology Communications team and significant interaction with senior management including Head of ORE and the OLTRE.

You will be responsible for the management of executive communication to both internal and external audiences, providing communications counsel to ORE senior leadership.

In addition, you will be responsible for writing, editing and managing content on both internal and external digital and social media channels to attract talent and enhance our reputation as a top oncology company.

You will also take the lead on organizational and people announcements to be shared across the ORE and will be a member of the ORE Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT).

The position can be based either in Basel, Switzerland or in Origgio / Milan, Italy.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and implement strategy and initiatives that enable associates to engage and align to the business mission, vision and strategy and help articulate and develop new behaviors and ways of working that are required to deliver the business priorities.
  • Support ORE Head of HR and ORE Head of Integrity and Compliance in communicating internally and externally
  • Lead best practice group (HR cross network team) to share and exchange engagement successes, knowledge and insights
  • Lead employee insights analysis to understand internal audiences and evolve our engagement approaches accordingly
  • Partner closely with HR and Global Comms to design and deploy high impact integrated culture and employee engagement strategies to achieve desired goals;
  • managing and implementing the plan

  • Leverage digital solutions to drive strategies for retention, culture change, and other relevant factors impacting employee engagement
  • Drive culture transformation through active engagement of ORE senior leadership team, HR colleagues using internal and external communication channels, in particular digital and social media platforms
  • Collaborate with Global and ORE external Comm. to raise the profile of ORE leadership by proactively seeking out media opportunities and speaking engagements as well as building presence / visibility for Leadership team
  • Develop unique content that captures the vision of ORE and its leadership and deploy strategic internal and external plans that may include presentations, blogs, podcasts, and social media channels.
  • Mindestanforderungen

    What you’ll bring to the role :

  • University degree in communications, journalism, marketing or the life sciences required. Post-graduate degrees desirable.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal (native speaker). Other language skills desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in communications in a corporation or public relations / marketing agency, or relevant field.
  • Creative, high-performing professional with solid track record as a self-starter and lead of collaborative projects; competency in change management, competency in employee engagement, a developed understanding of the
  • internal and external social media environment as

    well as internal process; attention to detail; excellent

    interpersonal, collaboration and team skills; ability to manage, simplify and achieve results through

    influence. Genuine interest in, and experience with culture, content and storytelling.
