Your field of responsibility

You will be part of a dynamic, international team of 6 tax professionals who act as specialists and advisors to our business partners on complex client tax compliance matters.

Your responsibilities will include advising the Front and other stakeholders globally, participating in presentations to other stakeholders, preparing Senior Management reporting, spearheading the annual risk assessment, and conducting trainings.

In your daily work you will have a chance to collaborate closely with different Business and Compliance functions within CS (also from various international locations) and to create a bank-wide network.

As part of the Central Client Tax Compliance team, you will be assigned to cases in which you will work on performing a tax analysis from a tax compliant perspective.

You will prepare the facts, identify tax issues, and request tax information to the Front or stakeholders to remediate or close the case.

You will read legal tax opinions from external tax advisors and provide comments on whether the tax position can be accepted.

Your analysis of clients’ cases will be focused on risk mitigation and the current risk appetite policy of the bank. Strong priority will be given to tax professionals with a UK tax background and familiarity with the UK Corporate Criminal Offense (UK CCO) legislation.
