Overview of Role

As Sales Manager, you will have a key role in the growth of Rothschild & Co's Asset Management business in Switzerland. The successful candidate is a dynamic and entrepreneurial professional with experience in the Asset Management industry in a sales role on the Swiss market.

You will have your own client portfolio and report directly to the Head of Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients
  • Taking responsibility and accountability for a client portfolio
  • Collaborating closely with different teams in various locations within Rothschild & Co Asset Management
  • Preparing and executing client events, including introductions to clients in English and French or German (depending on native language)
  • Education and Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or relevant subject preferred
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office)
  • Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Minimum of 3 years prior experience in the financial industry
  • Prior fund sales experience in Switzerland is considered a big plus
  • Native German or French speaker as well as fluent in English
  • Ability to build long-term, professional relationships that add value to our clients and contribute to the growth of our business
  • Experience in leading client presentations, managing projects and deal execution
  • Solid understanding of various alternative and traditional investment products hedge funds, long-only funds, private markets
  • Ability to work independently and be a key player in a dynamic team
  • Strong social and communication skills
