Responsibilities

Produce and deliver forecasts to key clients in various sectors, primarily Transport

Create the weather forecast narrative and brief this to your colleagues

Monitor outstanding weather forecasts against actual observation data and update forecasts as required

Send out alerts to clients that are impacted by adverse weather events

Be a point of contact for our clients for meteorological consultations and business risk assessments

Our Requirements :

Academic degree in Meteorology or a comparable field (e.g. Physics, Geo Earth Sciences), or at least 3 years of experience as a Meteorologist / Forecaster

Experience in weather forecasting is preferred

Good organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

A strong supportive team player

Knowledge of the following languages : Fluent in German (mother tongue level)Good knowledge of English (both verbal and written)Knowledge of French, Italian, Dutch or Spanish is considered a pre
