Job Description

As part of the R&D department at Nexthink, and reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will drive the software quality assurance transformation at Nexthink by leading the quality of the entire product.

The Software Quality Lead will lead by example and will help the teams to follow and implement best practices in the areas of testing frameworks, static analysis, performance tests, and application security (vulnerability scanning and penetration tests).

You will coordinate and follow up the QA work done by the different teams, assuring that we all move in the same direction and assuring the quality of the releases of the product.

You will also work as a bridge between Madrid and Lausanne teams regarding QA best practices.

Main Duties :

  • Oversee the software quality of the releasesImprove Nexthink product knowledge inside all teamsFederate QA standards and best practices across the teamsBuild and supervise static analysis and performance testsGet involved in the setup of pre-
  • production environmentsSetup and maintain vulnerability scanning and penetration test frameworks for the Nexthink productResearch and build methods and tools to improve the visibility of the status of the software quality (jenkins radiators, dashboards, automate QA reports, etc)

  • Ensure to have End to End (E2E) testing that are done in an agile wayWork together with the QAs on the E2E automationSpread E2E automated tests among QA TeamsEstablish a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across all the teamsFollow up the end-
  • to-end work done by the QA teams (Madrid and Lausanne) and synchronize with them

  • Work with the product delivery team to improve the release process and to make it continuous
  • Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Strong background as Software Quality engineer (5+ years of experience).
  • Experience leading transformation projects in an agile environment.
  • Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with high level programming language and scripting languages. Automation using : Java, Python, Groovy, Ruby...
  • Experience with Jenkins and ideally Jenkins pipelines.
  • Experience with Selenium and Gatling.
  • Experience with provisioning systems is highly desirable. Ideally Ansible.
  • Experience with virtualisation and containers would be a plus : Vagrant, Docker
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools.
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and willing to share knowledge with others.
  • Excellent soft skills, able to engage with developers, QAs, POs and VPs.
  • Presentation and communication skills are of paramount importance.
  • Being able to share a compelling vision and to lead by example.
  • Willing to take responsibilities and to handle stressful situations.
  • Speak professional-level English. French is a plus.
