We offer

  • An exciting and challenging team lead role in Real Estate Sourcing within Sourcing & Vendor Management
  • Manage and improve the global sourcing category strategy for Real Estate
  • Drive and execute a large portfolio of sourcing projects related to the Real Estate sourcing category
  • Lead a small multi-national team of experienced strategic sourcers and provide strategic guidance to a team of procurement specialists who all work collaboratively in support of Real Estate sourcing activities for the bank
  • The opportunity to gain support and acceptance by demonstrating sourcing value / process to respective initiatives at senior levels within SVM and the wider CS organization (C-level independent interaction required) and become the first point of contact for business stakeholders with respect to sourcing
  • Coordinate execution of successful tenders and vendor contract negotiations
  • Develop credibility and operate as a subject matter expert and internal consultant in Real Estate categories, construction, maintenance and repair, engineering and facilities management including security services, post courier, catering, cleaning, printing non marketing and work product such as office supplies, medical and other equipment, furniture etc.
  • Build effective and cooperative alliances externally with key vendors and manage directly those vendor relationships from a commercial perspective
  • Work extensively with management / COOs across divisions and functions to drive identification of efficiencies across Real Estate & Facilities expenses
  • You Offer

  • Significant experience of shaping sourcing category strategies and executing complex engagements in the area of Construction, Facilities Management and Engineering sourcing!
  • Experience in Real Estate & Facilities project structures, business case production and review, included but not limited to scoping, pricing models utilized, performance measurements including setting service standards, SLAs and associated KPIs
  • Proven people management experience, including remote management
  • Strong knowledge of contractual T&Cs incl. the ability to interpret clauses in order to identify the risks that may arise over the course of a contract’s lifecycle
  • Strong negotiation skills evidenced by a track record of negotiating cost savings from multi-million dollar deals
  • Strong relationship-management skills including influencing, problem resolution and collaboration skills with key internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Proficient project management skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of working in a fast paced, multi-task, international environment with an ability to work effectively cross border
  • Fluency in English; Proficiency in German or other languages an advantage
  • Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint skills preferred
  • Sourcing / procurement certification beneficial and Legal or paralegal qualification / experience preferred
