To strengthen our team in Uster, we are currently looking for a Senior Quality Specialist. Our Quality team is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain, to increase Customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.

The role reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Your responsibilities

Manage Customer quality issues, perform root cause analysis and lead the implementation of permanent corrective actions.

Train and coach quality techniques and methods

Support quality assurance tasks, technical leadership of the team

Coordination and support of quality planning and test procedures

Coordinate and perform internal and external audits

Support and maintain the quality management system.

Your background

Technical degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or plastics engineering

Good knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, 8D reports and other quality tools.

Good knowledge of the Microsoft office package and SAP.

Babtec knowledge would be an advantage

Fluent German and good English written and verbal skills essential.

Leadership / project management skills, assertiveness and organizational skills.

Ability to think in processes, work in teams and diplomacy to deal directly with Customers.

Minimum 5 years experience as a quality engineer / quality technician with experience in a product manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics processing.
