In order to reinforce the facility team in Basel we are currently recruiting for a Facility Manager
In this position you will be responsible to successfully manage and coordinate facility projects and activities in a key role in the Real Estate & Facility Management department located in Basel.
Description / Tasks :
Provide high quality customer service and functional support to all internal customers
Responsible for the coordination and execution of the Facility Master Plan - moves / relocation of teams, shops and offices
Responsible for space allocation, workplace management, office furniture and equipment for the site
Direct and coordinate Facility and Real Estate projects including, but not limited to, relocations, repairs, refurbishments, new installations and other improvement projects
Ensure the proper functioning of facilities and building operations through Maintenance & Services by coordination with Airport, suppliers and contractors
Manage Facility Maintenance and Services contracts and oversee contract renewals, modifications and obligations
Review and evaluate performance of suppliers and contractors to ensure value for money and efficient operating costs
Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
Provide support to major projects, strategy implementations, campaigns and events
Adhere to all EHS policy / procedures and ensure contractors comply with site EHS rules at all times
Ensure compliance with corporate fiscal, legal, environmental and risk management policies to minimize corporate liability and manage risk
Provide regular reports to senior management and participation to department reviews
Qualification / Experience :
Educated to degree level with at least 3 years of experience in a Facility Management role
Very good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office; (ServiceNow and AutoCAD an advantage)
Very good oral, written and communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Working language is English, however French and German would also be an advantage
Excellent customer-service focused attitude
Self motivated, uses initiative and enthusiastic to expand the role
Able to respond to sensitive issues, handle multiple priorities and variety of tasks concurrently
Results driven able to execute with high personal accountability and organizational skills
Attention to detail and great follow-up skills will be required
