Job description

The projects involve cultivation and genetic engineering of mammalian cell lines and primary human cells, the design and validation of gene switches and biosensors using the standard molecular tool portfolio (cloning, plasmid preparation and transfection), as well biochemical analysis of cellular behavior simulating human diseases.

Our group uses state-of-the-art Synthetic Biology principles to engineer human cells and develop cell-based therapies for the treatment of cancer as well as metabolic, neurodegenerative, autoimmune and infectious diseases.

Your profile

The successful candidate is exceptionally motivated to work in an international high-power research group, to explore novel therapeutic opportunities and advance translational aspects of precision medicine.

We expect a research technician diploma or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), good communication proficiency in English and the desire to innovate, excel in interdisciplinary teamwork and advance personality as well as professional skills.
