Position Summary

As Senior Brand Manager, you will prepare the launch of a new OTC brand in Switzerland, planned for Q2 / 2022. You will be responsible for the business plan development, capabilities assessment, preparation of go-to-market strategies, customer meetings and interaction with medical professionals.

Once the product will have been launched, you will take more responsibility within the growing consumer care portfolio.

A day in the life of a Senior Brand Manager

  • Assess market situation, develop business plans in Switzerland, clarify, recommend and implement go-to-market strategies
  • Interact with sales teams, customers and HCPs in order to assure local success of the brand
  • Be the key point of contact to follow up growth plans with all involved teams, mainly finance, sales, marketing
  • Coach teams best in class OTC strategies and supports Head of Marketing with identifying new growth potentials / business development projects.
  • Drive sales strategy based on former OTC sales experience, train and coach sales staff and head of sales
  • Track local brand performance in comparison with business plans, e.g. through launch tracker dashboard that includes financials & consumer measures
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand within organization
  • What will make you successful

  • Min. 7 years of experience in marketing and sales, ideally gained in OTC / Pharma environment or other highly regulated environment
  • Proven success in project management across teams and markets in order to launch new products / claims
  • Strong knowledge of the Swiss market is mandatory
  • Mother tongue German or French, good level in other language (ability to manage presentations and develop communication materials in both languages) + good level of English
