Strategic Buyer

The Strategic Buyer will be responsible for defining and implementing the Category Strategy for Indirect spend categories related to General Expense i.

e. IT, Marketing & Communication, Human resources, Consulting, Facilities and Legal.

YOUR MISSION :

  • Foster strong relationships with internal customers in order to understand their needs and make strategic recommendations;
  • Be responsible for developing and leading the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, through RFI's and RFP's including competitive bidding process, service provider selection, negotiating price and terms / conditions in close partnership with internal Stakeholders and Legal;
  • Review and challenge Master Service Agreements, statements of work and SLAs;
  • Perform financial analysis and risk assessment to recommend optimal solutions to the businesses;
  • Contribute to reach the savings target agreed at Group level.
  • DESIRED PROFILE :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and Professional certifications in Procurement required;
  • 5-7 years of broad GenEx Procurement experience, including contract negotiations required. Experience in procuring GenEx across various industries preferred;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
  • Purchase-to-Pay implementation experience a plus;
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills and Strong quantitative and analytical skills;
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, communication, presentation and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally;
  • Meticulous, proactive and able to multi-task;
  • Fluent in English and French;
  • Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
