This position leads and drives a cultureof analytical thinking and data driven decision making with a strong focus onInsights and Actions.

This includes partnering with Regional franchiseleadership and other cross-functional team members to analyze businessperformance and support the build detailed plans to improve performance.

Thisposition reports into the Director of Global Orthopedics Franchise Strategy& Commercial Effectiveness.

This person brings intellectualcuriosity, analytical rigor, ability to influence decisions at the highestlevels within the organization and build / sustain a culture of data-baseddecision making in the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the DePuy Synthes Health of Business diagnostics process and support the Franchise Leadership Team with relevant and predictive business performance insights.
  • Leverage latest analytical models and tools including Data Discovery solutions, Dash boarding Suites, statistical techniques and predictive modeling to provide continuous updates and insights at all levels of the organization in the form of standard reports and scorecards, ad hoc analysis, Portfolio and SKU rationalization analytics, Inventory and E&O analytics and new product business cases
  • Work with GBI to provide a granular, strategic view of competitors identifying opportunities and preempting potential future risks.
  • Own and shape analytics coordination for priority markets including working with local commercial operations and regions on Account level analytics, Customer Segmentation and deep dive analytics.
  • Facilitate Business Planning (BP), Strategic Planning Process & long-range forecasting process in close partnership with Finance
  • Support Deep Dive workshops to identify business acceleration initiatives
  • Create and maintain Tableau-based dashboards for analysis of EMEA platform metrics including back-end data management and consolidation as needed
  • Work with platform teams, Supply Chain and priority markets to orchestrate a comprehensive Demand review process that connects account conversion pipeline to capex / investment needs.
  • Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders including Regions, Innovation, Marketing, Supply Chain and GBI to implement end-to-end measurement, attribution and optimization capabilities from Strategic Plan objectives to commercial execution.
  • Partner with GSM team to create and maintain product hierarchies for use in franchise dashboards.
  • Lead Training sessions for cross-functional teams to encourage adoption of new analytical tools
  • Provide support for key executive reviewsincluding deck preparation and consolidation

    Qualifications :

  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in Analytics, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Finance in Med Device and / or healthcare or a related area required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed is strongly preferred.
  • Global experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process observations into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge / use of latest analytical models and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to reconcile external and internal data sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated ability to create tableau dashboards is preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more advanced data systems Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik, R, Python is required. Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Effective communication skills including presentation skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s Degree or MBA is a plus
