We are currently hiring a Corporate Communications Manager for our dynamic global communications team. We are a nimble team supporting a high growth global business.

In this role you will be a key player to raise Vifor Pharma’s profile and strengthen its reputation as a star amongst Swiss pharmaceutical companies.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Successfully engage, motivate and align employees worldwide so that Vifor Pharma can more efficiently and effectively achieve its strategic objectives
  • Create a meaningful connection between employees and the Vifor Pharma strategy, performance, brand positioning and corporate values
  • Support editorial management, planning, writing and copy editing of communications materials as required
  • Populate internal communications channels with relevant content to help achieve company goals and collaborate closely with responsible activities
  • Drive company-wide global conferences and town halls
  • Create and implement integrated internal communications plans to support strategic objectives. Plans should include :
  • Measurable related communication goals
  • Internal stakeholder engagement
  • Creation of relevant messages to engage target audiences
  • Selection and implementation of relevant channels and materials to deliver messages to defined target audiences (F2F, intranet, lunch & learn, site town hall, etc.,)
  • Project management including clear status reporting to business partners
  • Utilisation of relevant Corporate Communications tools, processes, templates and guidelines (including creation of new ones where needed and continual improvement of existing ones as required)
  • Help communicate clearly the Vifor Pharma strategy and business goals, including measurement, to all employees
  • Partner with other functions for consistent communications
  • Provide editorial content support for multiple online platforms including website, intranet, social media channels, corporate materials and reports
  • Provide guidance on communications and collaborate closely with other functions, sites and affiliates
  • We would like to welcome the following experience and skills for the role :

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Communication Management on an international level, with high level of branding elements (B-2-C, B-2-B)
  • Writing and copy editing in English of communications materials
  • Solid experience with development and deployment of global Integrated Communication Programs
  • Available for 10-15% travel primarily in Switzerland
  • Good understanding of cultural behaviours and subsequent drivers
  • Team player partnering and promoting business-relevant initiatives within the company
  • Process and Results oriented
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Process and Results oriented, flexible to act with a sense of urgency if needed
  • Good understanding of cultural behaviours and ways of working in headquarters and affiliates
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Your business knowledge, diplomatic and influencing skills will help you to build relationships across the business and support the strategy to achieve our business goals.
