DescriptionPosition at Logitech GThe Role : TheGaming Simulation Engineer is responsible for defining and implementing all algorithms related to gaming products for simulation (car racing simulator, tractor simulator, flight simulator) Your Contribution : Be Yourself.

In this role you will : Take ownership of the firmware discussions linked to signal processing and motor control Convert technical requirements into firmware and software requirements , making sure they are consistent, complete, correct, and operationally definedDefine the solution and design the solution (modular layer, reusability) , anticipates extensions and modifications in future stagesImplement new algorithms and maintain legacy algorithms.

  • Implement counter-part on laptop side to validate the algorithms Communicate with Electrical Engineering team to discuss sensors selection and qualificationCommunicate early and often about any significant events or issues affecting the team or delivery schedule and qualityImprove processes or propose improvement where applicableAgile thinking and be able to work in rapidly evolving;
  • first of a kind development environment Key Qualifications : For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team : 10+ years’ experience in Software Engineering5+ years’ experience in Digital Signal Processing algorithm implementation ideally experience in Triaxis hall sensor and motor control systemStrong knowledge of C and C++ languages Computer engineering knowledge (processor and memory organization stack, interrupt handling, DMA, data transfer buses, serial communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, .

  • Experience in full lifecycle software development of real-time embedded system, including system design and analysis, requirement capture and development, software implementation and verification, system integration, qualification and releasingGood experience in designing modular and reusable firmware componentsService oriented attitude, with strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skillsAbility to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical individualsEducation : BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalentLogitech is the sweet spot for people who are passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it.
