In this role, you will be part of the Data Assets Management (DAM) team. As the Business Process Lead you are accountable for defining and owning all the end to end business processes as it pertains to master data within the MDM platform as well as across the commercial GTM RDI organization.
Single point of contact within the master data management practice to define, design and own different end to end business processes involving master data domains, includes and not limited to just within the MDM platform.
Translate business needs into harmonized requirements that are actionable and are appropriately scoped for product design, implementation, & delivery;
are aligned with applicable regulatory and data privacy regulations, are aligned with Roche data governance processes, requires other stakeholders including technical teams (internal and external) to obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to convert to tangible work product deliverables.
Collaborate closely with the MDM practice lead, master data domain lead, integration, information and data architects ensuring there is close harmonization between technology and business processes.
Challenge constructively the requirements ensuring that implementation of such requirements adds business value to Roche as an enterprise and to our customers (affiliates, healthcare stakeholders like HCPs, HCOs, Payers and Patients)
Understand technology options, limitations, costs, and risks of the product; Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape business requirements accordingly.
Finalize business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions for the customers as well as to the technology stakeholders within DAM and Commercial GTM.
Ability to use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, 1 : 1 discussions, workshops, storyboards, and mockups.
Create artifacts such as business case documentation, scope documentation, and business process flows.
Skill set / Qualifications :
Must have :
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years practical experience in the relevant field and function.
Exceptional documentation skills producing both effective business and technical documentations with illustrative diagrams and process / data flows.
Strong collaboration skills to partner with a wide variety of stakeholders - Business, IT and Compliance - both global and local (affiliates) as needed.
High proficiency in commercial life sciences oriented data domains - including and not limited to HCP, HCO, Payer, Patients, Retail / institutional sales, Specialty data, Direct / Indirect Sales, RWE data etc.
High proficiency with life sciences business processes covering multiple domains and local / global functions including and not limited to pharma commercial, medical, supply chain, data privacy, data residency.
Strong business knowledge and product mindset to design and document business processes and requirements.
Broad knowledge of compliance regulations like GDPR, LGPD, CCPA, Schrems II and data residency laws to effectively interface with stakeholders from GPO, local DPOs as well as data governance pillar within GTM and other data governance bodies / councils in effect.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with and present to varied communities of stakeholders from business, IT, governance and compliance groups.
Good to have / Preferred Skills :
Experience with agile methodologies and agile tools such as Jira, Jamboards, Trello boards etc..
Experience with different project management methodologies and software development life cycles
Experience with business process and data flow documentation constructs and tools like UML, DFD etc.
Proficiency with data visualization tools and data model visualization tools like Erwin.
