Responsibilities

Work closely with team members to develop and proofread quality learning materials

Conceptualise new content ideas and liaise with authors and other stakeholders in the production of Encyclopedia books

Work with designers and / or the marketing team in the design and deliver relevant collateral materials

Keep abreast with market information such as competitors’ activities and developments in the STEM book sector.

Identify potential issues and actively seek / adjust resolutions to ensure timely delivery of projects assigned.

Source for potential authors; Manage authors to ensure quality content and alignment to approved concepts.

Handle all feedback and enquiries about new book proposals and published titles.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in all disciplines ; A Master’s is preferred

Knowledge of book publishing, including pre-press

Strong communication and coordination skills

Well-organized, meticulous and deadline-oriented.

Excellent command of the English Language

Able to work independently and in a team

Advanced knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
