POSITION OVERVIEW

At General Mills, brand building is the focal point from which all decisions are made. Our internship program is a combination of projects with real business impact and day-

to-day work that will allow you to make an immediate impact on our brands and help build our business in the region.

RESPONSIBILITES :

  • Lead execution for the key packaging renovation project
  • Work with the multifunctional team to develop and approve holistic claims spreadsheets for total brand range across markets
  • Work with design agency to ensure smooth execution of imagery retouching
  • Lead the strategy of cross-sell and inspiration on pack in collaboration with CTM and digital team
  • Guide packaging driver in design application across total brand range based on agency guidelines
  • Lead artwork process from kick-off to sign-off within internal system (Gclips)
  • Approve packaging color proofs to ensure they are in line with design guidelines
  • Lead e-com assets development
  • Lead language strategy on pack for brand expansion
  • Lead brand guidelines development with the design agency under brand manager supervision
  • Manage samples process across the region for product and new packaging
  • Support brand manager with Innovation / Renovation bake offs on ongoing bases
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • University studies in Marketing or related field
  • Interested and passionate about a career in Brand Management
  • Prior internship / work experience in Marketing, Consumer Research or Category Management / Sales
  • Project Management experience
  • Demonstrate your leadership ability and teamwork
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to think creatively with strategic insight
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English (other languages French , Spanish) a plus
  • Marketing Competencies :

    1. Develop a Brand Strategy : Analyze business and consumer trends, identify key issues facing your business and build and execute innovative marketing plans.

    2. Team Leadership : Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of marketing plan strategies including advertising, product development, packaging, trade and consumer promotions, and business operation of your brand.

    3. Innovation : Identify new, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas and strategies. Create high-

    impact promotions, advertising, packaging, sales or operational innovation.

    4. Goal Setting and Financial Management : Set annual volume, profit and share objectives and manage your business to deliver them.
