We are currently looking for Environment Support Engineer to to come on board and support our operation in Zürich.

You will collaborate directly with delivery teams to get insight into the components they deliver and maintain working distributed IT environments.

You are curious, persistent, logical and clever a true techie at heart. You enjoy living by the code of your craft and developing elegant solutions for complex problems.

Responsibilities

Responsible mainly for environment configuration management and support as well as ensuring high software quality throughout the whole SDLC by communicating effectively with other development team members, project members and internal clients

Using skills and a range of tools to help make our deployment & delivery process fast, reliable and automated

Maintain CI / CD process and manage our distributed infrastructure

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of Linux OS and command line tools

Experience in some scripting languages

Knowledge of IP networking

Knowledge of troubleshooting Java applications

Knowledge of REST API fundamentals

Knowledge of virtualization (Docker, K8S)

Knowledge about cloud computing and managing cloud environments (Azure preferred)

Knowledge about CI / CD processes and tools (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, GitLab, GitHub)

Nice to have knowledge of Kafka and ELK stack

Focused on quality and details
